Ricky loves trying new things whether it’s food, experiences, or skills. One of his greatest skills is tapping into the moments that make you feel whole and present and most like YOU. He's got an eye for details and does the best job at caring for what his couples care about. PLUS he might be the ultimate hype man (I, Katie can attest to that!)
Ricky LOVES a chance to flex his creative muscles by incorporating a touch of nostalgia to his films. Where are my 90's babies at?! Pair his care and craft with his love for a good dance floor - wow. Could our couples BE any luckier?

As a husband and father of 2, Kurt fully appreciates the weight and value of meaningful moments. With 8 years of experience, Kurt has a deep passion for storytelling. He works closely with our couples to create moments that feel naturally elegant — capturing with genuine emotion, beautiful surroundings, and meaningful connections. He is a master at gently guiding the most authentic and precious moments.
His special strengths are subtle interplay of light and shadow, and pushing creative boundaries to better tell stories. Oh and loves himself a good whiskey or wait... did someone say coffee?!

The wedding video we received from the Anchored Films team completely blew ALL of our expectations out of the water! Truly there was no better team to provide support throughout the entire planning process, giving us advice on timelines, amping us up minutes before walking down the aisle, and having the greatest time on the dance floor with our guests! Kurt blended in seamlessly throughout the day - we say he was a ninja because when we got our film back, there were moments that we thought, "he was there for that???". He completely captured everything we wanted AND MORE.
We knew we wanted to incorporate some home videos along with some footage of our guests. Within the first 10 seconds of the video we had lumps in our throats... WOW WOW WOW. This team is so creative, thoughtful with their editing/timing with music, and all around such a blast to have with you on your big day. If you make ONE right decision on your wedding day, let it be hiring Anchored Films. We considered cutting videography out of our budget, and man oh man what a mistake that would've been. We are so incredibly blessed to have this piece of art to carry with us the rest of our lives and show our children someday. There are not enough "thank yous" in the world to give to Anchored Films!

Okay okay we're both over here bawling! Cant wait to watch it on repeat for forever now! One thing I did not understand that I've always heard people say is just how fast everything goes, it flies by in an instant, you blinked and you missed everything. Thank you soooo much for capturing it so beautifully and helping us truly relive. It is everything! If AnchoredFilms did not capture your day, did you even get married?? Cannot recommend them enough! All of our friends and family are blown away by the film and continue to share their awe! Incredibly professional, wonderful to work with, Katie helped us feel comfortable and focused on the day while she killed it on the taping, editing and everything in between!
